Ms. Simantob was born in New York, New York. She has been practicing law for over thirty years. In 1986, Ms. Simantob graduated with high honors from U.C. Berkeley with a double major in Political Science and French. In 1989, Ms. Simantob graduated from Loyola Law School with high honors (Order of the Coif) where she also served as a member and editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review.
Ms. Simantob commenced her career at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison, one of the premier law firms in California.
Ms. Simantob opened her own practice and passionately provides business and real estate legal services to a wide range of clients. Ms. Simantob represents individuals, start-ups and regional and national companies, including First Hawaiian Bank, Wells Fargo Bank and Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. Ms. Simantob acts as outside general counsel to several emerging companies. Ms. Simantob is routinely hired to act lead counsel on complex transactional and litigation matters.
Ms. Simantob has more than thirty years of experience in real estate and business transactions.
Ms. Simantob speaks four languages fluently (including French and Spanish) and enjoys traveling with her family.
Ms. Simantob has two sons, Gabriel and Aaron. Gabriel is a graduate of UCLA and is attending George Washington Medical School. Aaron is a graduate of USC and started his career in management consulting at Bain & Company.
Ms. Simantob dedicates her time to pro-bono legal services for individuals with limited financial resources and each year Ms. Simantob sponsors and advises a young immigrant.
